Protecting Clients' Interests in Family Law and Estate Planning

I am available to stand by your side through family law and other legal matters. I am here to listen to your needs and work hard to meet them. You can rest assured that I will be here when you need me, whatever legal challenges you face:

  • Divorce: The stress of a divorce can be compounded if it leads to litigation. As a Round Rock divorce attorney, I can help you pursue that path, or I can work with you to reach an amicable resolution through mediation with your former spouse. Uncontested divorce and mediation can save you time and money, while leading to a resolution that is created by you, not the court.
  • Military divorce: Military divorces often involve complicated child custody, child support, and property division issues. I can support your interests during interstate child custody, division of military pensions, and other military divorce matters.
  • Child custody and support: While Texas courts use specific guidelines and rules to determine child support and child custody, those guidelines don't take everything into consideration. I can advocate for the support, custody, or visitation arrangement that is right for you.
  • Child visitation: You have the right to spend time with your child. I will learn about your goals for how much time you would like with your child and fight for a child visitation plan that meets those goals.
  • Modification of court orders: Life changes and child custody, child visitation, and child support orders can be modified to correspond with those changes. Whether your former spouse has received a salary increase that should be reflected in support payments, you have changed jobs and require different custody arrangements, or any other significant change has occurred, I can help.
  • Contempt of court: Court orders pertaining to child support, child visitation, child custody, and other divorce matters are legally binding. When they are not followed, the former spouse who violated them can be held in contempt of court, which has serious repercussions. If you have not received child support, if you have been accused of not allowing the appropriate amount of visitation time, or if you are involved in any other matter related to violating the orders, I encourage you to contact me.
  • Adoption: The process of adoption can be difficult to navigate. I can help you move through it efficiently and effectively so you and your child can move forward with your lives.
  • Paternity: Paternity cases may involve children born out of wedlock or situations in which someone is accused of an extramarital affair. They can lay the groundwork for receiving or denying a wide range of parental rights, including child custody and child support.
  • Protective orders: During the process of a divorce, tensions often run high between the two parties. One spouse may feel he or she needs protection from the other. Protection orders, also known as restraining orders, can help serve this purpose.
  • Name changes: People may want their names changed for a variety of reasons. Many times, it is the result of a divorce. A former wife may want to change back to her maiden name. Children may wish to change their last names to align with the parent with whom they spend more time. Whatever the case, I can assist.
  • Attorney General cases: I can help with a wide variety of Attorney General cases. I can help you through the process efficiently and effectively.
  • Estate planning: A strong estate plan can ensure that your assets pass down efficiently and effectively to whom you want them to go. I can create a plan based on your needs that incorporates wills and trusts, durable powers of attorney, advance medical directives, or other tools.
  • Estate administration and probate: If you have lost a loved one and are going through the process of probate and estate administration, I can help. I will work hard to ensure that the needs of you and your family are met.
